The Blackcomb Pipeline is an approximately 366-mile intrastate pipeline designed to transport up to 2.5 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas from the Permian Basin to a terminus near Agua Dulce, Texas, providing direct access to South Texas markets and consumers. An approximate 80-mile, 42-inch lateral line will also provide connectivity for gas processors in the Midland Basin.
As natural gas production in the Permian Basin continues to grow, the Blackcomb Pipeline will provide critical takeaway capacity by moving product to market for end use, as well as play a significant role enhancing our nation’s energy security, reducing energy costs, and minimizing emissions related to flaring. Construction is currently expected to begin in Q3 2025 and conclude with an in-service date of Q3 2026.
